This is the last day of our cleanse. Paul and I have transitioned back into eating foods within the last few days but today we decided to take a colon cleansing drink this morning. I found this recipe in the book "Prescriptions for Nutritional Healing" by Phyllis A. Balach, CNC.
Here is the recipe:
1 T Bentonite Clay
1 t Psyllium Seed
1/2 c Apple Juice
1/2 c Aloe Vera Juice
1/2 c Steam-Distilled Water
These 10 days have been a great reset after the holidays. A couple meals that are not as clean as you usually eat, can really throw a person's body chemistry off. I saw it in my blood, but after this cleansing period, my blood definitely looks much better again. I will continue to cleanse and rebalance my body's vitamins and minerals until my blood looks optimal, as I do my best to practice what I preach, because as I mentioned in a previous blog post, there is no price on good health.
It's best to do you your best to eat healthy and take care of yourself most of the time but in the real world most people are not going to be 100% perfect all of the time. But when you do have some food and drinks that are not as good for you, it is imperative to cleanse your body as soon as possible, so it does not linger and cause other problems.
No matter how healthy a person strives to be periodic cleansing is also best for the body because we are constantly bombarded with toxins.
